Sky Squadron 1945 - Detail GDD

Purpose

This folder converts the production-style workbook structure from Dragon Shoot - Detail.xlsx into a Markdown GDD for the current Sky Squadron 1945 prototype.

The reference workbook is not a single narrative document. It is a system-by-system design database: backlog, aircraft catalog, aircraft skills, DPS formulas, wingmen, enemy units, boss fight, modes, rewards, economy, localization, auto push, error codes, and difficulty tuning. This GDD follows the same sheet-group logic, but maps it to our current HTML Canvas game.

Structure Notes

  • Workbook tabs are treated as product modules.
  • Markdown tables preserve spreadsheet-like columns.
  • config-draft.json is the bridge from GDD to future data-driven code.
  • Current implementation is still single-file, so mappings reference function names and line-level regions instead of modules.

Gameplay Systems

Core Loop

  1. Player launches a mission from the hangar.
  2. Player aircraft auto-fires while the player dodges enemy bullets.
  3. Enemy waves spawn in formations.
  4. Ground targets add secondary threats and reward opportunities.
  5. Player collects power cores, bombs, and life pickups.
  6. Boss appears at the mission climax.
  7. Player receives score, currency, cards, and chest progress.
  8. Player upgrades aircraft or wingmen.
  9. Next mission or mode unlocks.

Stage Sub-Missions (Sub Q)

General Rules

  • - Mỗi lvl ( trừ level đánh Boss ) đều có 3 Sub Mission theo 3 tầng giống nhau
  • - Sau khi vượt qua Sub Mission 1 sẽ được nhận thưởng 1 và show Sub Mission 2. Tượng tự với 2 và 3
  • - Các Sub Mission 1 - 2 - 3 lần lượt là yêu cầu tiêu diệt ít nhất 50 - 80 - 100% số quái trong màn chơi đó ( Không tính Thiên Thạch và Hòm Tiền )
  • - Phần quà tương ứng sẽ là 1 Common Chest - 2 Common Chest - 3 Common Chest

Boss Phase Rules

In combat, bosses trigger different patterns based on remaining HP thresholds:

Economy and LiveOps

Currency Draft

The economy model comprises:

  • Gold Coins: Primary currency, used for upgrading aircraft and wingmen.
  • Gems (Ruby): Premium currency, used for chests, lucky spins, and buying top-tier aircraft.
  • Medals: Used to purchase and upgrade passive skills.
  • Wingman Cards (MiniShip Cards): Experience cards needed for wingman progression.
